Donate Your Saturdays
We’re always looking for new people to get involved with us. Haddington are a community club but we’d love to be more representative of East Lothian and the local area. We can only keep turning out because of the hard work of members old & new. Contact form below…
Play.
Our first team cricket on Saturdays is suitable, broadly speaking, for those aged 12+ and/or those with some hard-ball cricket experience. We play in Division 3 of ESCA - its competitive but good natured 40 over cricket. We have a Players & Members Group on Facebook - ask to join!
We also have a full calendar of Midweek friendlies. Last Man Stands is another excellent way to learn the game or come back to it (we’ve had people return to cricket after 20, 30 years away!) with matches aimed to fit in 2 hours after work.
Our ambition is to relaunch a junior team to build on the excellent All Stars & Dynamos programmes. We’re proud to have had women & girls represent Haddington in league & social cricket, and we would be delighted to have a dedicated team as part of the club.
Coach.
We have members with coaching certificates & experience, but currently no one person as designated coach for either adult players, or to take the lead on re-establishing junior cricket. We’d love to have junior cricket in Haddington again. Get in touch if you can lead on this, or just think you can help out.
Helping Hands.
The parents, grandparents & friends who come and help lay out tea, switch the urn on, collect boundary flags, mark the pitch… we can never be thankful enough. If you think you can help with anything behind the scenes or on match days then please get in touch. There’s lots to do all year round.
Sponsor.
Check out this page for more information.
We believe sponsorship is a partnership, and were absolutely delighted at how wonderful the Tyneside Tavern are to work with. Packages available from as little as £30 for individual match sponsors, and we’d love a conversation on what we can do together. Its tricky times for most businesses big & small, let’s collaborate.
